Friends of Aine Receives The Your Choice Fidelity Cares Project Grant

Friends of Aine is proud to announce that we were selected for the Your Choice Fidelity Care Project Grant. With the help of Boston Cares and Fidelity Investments employees, over 1,600 snack bags were packed for the children who attend our programs. Many of our programs run around meal time and these snack bags provide comfort and nourishment to children as they navigate their grief journeys.

Friends of Aine Welcomes Cate Murphy

Cate Murphy is a 23-year-old advocate for grieving young people. In July 2016, her father Jason was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer, and after a courageous fight, he died in March 2017. She was 15 years old. While grappling with the death of her father, she found herself without a support system, causing her to struggle deeply with isolation and apathy.
